  • -Matric or equivalent experience.

    -Minimum Code B Driver’s License with valid PDP.

    -Good English communication skills.

  • -Two years experience in the Aluminium industry.

    -Driver’s license

  • -Handle stock (incl. hardware), by receiving, packing, and loading stock (incl. hardware). 

    -Deliver goods undamaged to customers (when required).

  • -Assist to correctly pick, load and check stock extrusions or hardware for delivery/collection.

    -Assist with receiving stock and packing away onto racks.

    -Correctly receive and dispatch all stock.

    -Check material for quality and properly interleaf and protect material when wrapping.

    -Identify and rectify racks/trolleys, etc. that lost its protection to avoid material damage.

    -Assist with all warehouse activities and housekeeping as required.

    -Maintain warehouse and vehicle housekeeping and safety in accordance with the company standards.

    -Assist with stock-takes.

    -Do long distance trips sleep out, work overtime or Saturdays when required on a flexitime basis.

    -Form an active part of the RFM team and perform any other functions that may be requested by Management to enhance branch productivity.

    -Ensure that all deliveries to customers are on time and correctly carried out.

    -Use shortest or quickest routes to and from customers and quick loading of goods to ensure vehicle turn-around time is as short as possible and to ensure high vehicle productivity and low fuel cost.

    -Ensure punctual and authorised collection of returned goods from customers and correct completing of relevant documentation.

    -Ensure that valid Proof of Delivery (POD) and payment, where relevant, is obtained from customers.

    -Maintain a friendly professional image and attitude to ensure customer service is rated as excellent.

    -Always adhere to traffic rules and report any incident, large or small.

    -Ensure all relevant documentation and trip analysis records are kept neat and up to date daily.

    -Ensure that vehicle load is safely packed and strapped to avoid unnecessary damage to products.

    -Ensure that vehicle is roadworthy, maintained, serviced as required, clean, that daily inspections are done and checked and trip sheets are completed correctly.

    -Check Cash invoices to ensure that no goods are dispatched without proof of payment on invoice.
